Two Play Therapy Interns to begin in 2009-2010!
Ann Friedenheim and Moira Padfield join Joanne's office for one year as interns working towards becoming Registered Play Therapists. Ann works full time as a Clinical Supervisor at Confront in Allentown, PA, an outpatient agency, and is a Registered Yoga Teacher as well as a LifeForce Yoga Practitioner II. Ann also is one of the founding members with Joanne of "Help for Parents" that puts weekly articles on parenting issues in the Morning Call. She has seen clients in Joanne's office to fulfill her requirements for her second Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Child and Adolescent therapies.
UPDATE 2012: Ann and Moira have successfully finished their internships at Joanne's office in 2010, and Ann continues her work at Confront in Allentown and read on to see what Moira is doing now!

Moira Padfield comes to Joanne's office with a rich background in early-childhood education, psychology and nursing. She is a certified International Montessori directress and has founded schools in Utah, Alaska and Norway. While studying for her bachelor's degree in psychology from Albright College in Reading, she worked as a Therapeutic Support Specialist throughout the Lehigh Valley, helping children with special needs. She has graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, specializing in Child and Adolescent therapies. She and her husband of 37 years have three grown children and four grandchildren. Moira has continued on after her internship in her own Private Practice here at 1754 W. Broad Street, Bethlehem.
